How This Works
Let us know what subject(s) you are studying and what issues you would like practice writing. Bar Made Easy will send you previously tested California Bar and Baby Essays for you to write. The essays chosen will include the areas of law you requested. We can also provide you essays to prepare you for your midterm and/or final exams in law school or for the California Bar or Baby Bar (FYLSE).
You are to write your answer and email it back to Bar Made Easy for a personalized critique. We will review your answer and comment on your performance by stating our observations – whether you missed issues, were weak in the analysis, not organized etc. We will also offer suggestions to help you improve. Your answer will then be returned to you with our comments in red. An issue spotting checklist and/or answer will also be sent to you.
Why This Works
There is always room for improvement in everyone’s essay writing. While knowing the law is good, the only way to improve your test taking skills is by writing practice exams. Most law schools provide little feedback or don’t provide any opportunities to submit practice essay exams for review. When practicing on your own, its often difficult to know what is good and what is not good in your answer. How would you know when you are the student? By learning and understanding from the constructive feedback returned to you, you can then begin to make the necessary adjustments in your next writing assignment. Over time, you will develop strong test taking skills necessary to passing your finals and the bar exam. Remember, test taking skills are learned and are not inherent.
